So its this season of the year again :D
& my last post is like almost 1 mth ago?!

Been really busy this past few weeks, & i'm kinda lazy to post abt any happenings :P
plus, my korean lang lessons ended last wk so i'm practically either going out to town everyday, or stay at home & watch re-runs of 'Twilight' & 'Suite Life On Deck' :S

What better way to spend e long hols- Go VAMP.

These are my plans:
1. Read 'Breaking Dawn', since i stopped at tt bk due to e O's.
2. RE-read e entire twilight series.
3. Watch 'The Vampire Diaries' (hopefully i can complete e entire season by this hol)
4. Catch 'New Moon' ASAP.

My hse's electricity & gas supplies are cut.
Luckily i'm using a note bk or else my post'll be gone.
Plus i'm stuck in this webpage as e internet access has been cut too :S

Can't use e fan, tv or even on e lights.
E fridge's gone down & i can't even cook w/o e gas supplies.
E only resort is the phone line in which i've no idea who to call for a chat :X

Great news though, at first i thought it was my dad's fault who forgot to pay for e bills so they had to cut our supplies but it seems like e whole condo is experiencing e same problem.
(it feels weird & scary, especially if u had just watched 2012)

As dramatic as it sounds, i think i can seriously hear my neighbour next door, frantically switching on & off e lights, & other neighbours chatting outside since they've nothing else better to do.

Sigh. I've gotta save this post in Microsoft Word first, & post it when e internet access resumes.

Luckily my grandma, who lives 6 storeys down, has finished cooking before e whole catastrophe started. Or else i'll have to starve till e end of e world :S

Anyways, today marks e day of the end of e mid-yr exams & the day in which the results of the top 2 contestants of American Idol will be released in live telecast on Star World (:

After e 1-hr long paper in sch, I went straight home & continued reading 'New Moon'.

I know, I have 'no life' at all.

Seriously, a student will normally hang out with their buds after e end of exams & paint e whole town red.

But what i did is e total opposite & kinda abnormal :S

Anyways, I'm pretty sure tt i can finish reading e bk by this weekend. It kinda took me about 3 months or so to complete reading it (sorry Fred!)

I've gotta admit tt I'm a slow-reader.

Once, i even took 1 whole yr to finish reading a bk tt's way thinner than a normal 'Harry Potter' bk =X

But my fastest record has gotta be 'Air Head' & maybe 'Twilight' .

'New Moon' is really boring at e middle course of e bk.

Tt explains why i'm taking such a long time to read it.

Edward didnt even appear in more than half of e chapters in e bk ;(

But i've already read finish the 'boring-er' parts, so e bk's pretty much alive again since Edward's back to e pic (or story) ;D

As usual, my day started out badly.

1. Both of my form teachers gave out MORE homework for the hols.
2. I've totally forgotten to file up my A-maths & E-maths file :P
3. I got back my results slip
4. I've just recalled that I haven't completed the assignments tt Kenny gave.

Anyways, it seems tt this REALLY short March holiday is NOT a holiday at all.
Just look at the load of homework piled up on my 'ever-messy' desk...

Its mostly because of my carelessness & the lack of time.

Attended the career fair today & it was kinda interesting & TIRING to go around e HUGE convention hall in Suntec with my 10kg bag and books.

As usual, we had e Singaporean mentality in mind & went around searching for freebies.HAHA

Anyways, many of the courses available were very appealing & i couldnt really make up my mind for the right course that i'd like to take in the future. There were also a lot of oversea's universities i've never heard of that provides the course tt i wanna take. BUT, i cant carry out my career in Singapore as the Government do not recognise the qualifications tt we've obtained from overseas. Okay, i'm thinking way too far now.

Went to Ngee Ann Poly's open house today with Zhiting.

& we both injured our arms.

Zhiting fell from the stairs while i hurt mine when i turned around & hit my arm against a pole.

Just our luck.

Just kidding!

When we reached Ngee Ann Poly after the 'loung-barng' from Zt's friend, we saw the building of the 'School of Health Sciences', so we walked up to it.

We actually wanted to ask directions to the new canteen there: 'Makan Place'
as GuinKy told me that the new canteen's pretty nice.

But we ended up going on the tour around the building :X

Anyways, the tour was really fun as we got to see how an operation rm looks like, how to do CPR, & we got to see a pregnant woman give birth to a baby (kidding! it was just a fake model), got the experience to have our arms bandaged (above pic).. & lots more.

Plus, we got loads of goodies on the way. Haha! :D

Furthermore, we saw many familiar faces there.
Like Clement from YLA, Zt's cousin, more ppl from YLA.

Even Adam (Ninja's Leader) , Marvin, Edmund, Cheryl (Apache's leader) Matthew (MC & guy on the big board), Regina (girl who looked like Ms Yu), were all in the poly's 'X-tra hyper' magazine! (:

I missed them so much!

All in all, i find today's open house WAY better than yesterday's one (;

when i was waiting in the bus interchange, because i've missed my bus AS USUAL,

i noticed that there were a yellow line on the ground, which is for the safety of the passengers like those in the MRT stations.

I thought yellow line only exist in MRT stations?

Cause it kinda acts as a border to prevent the passengers from falling off the track.

But in bus interchange?

What's its purpose?

To prevent the passengers from falling off to the road??

I'm SO Not Fated With SMRT Buses

This post is not to complain about the services of the SMRT buses but its just for me to vent out my anger in always being late for like 0.001 milli-seconds when i'm taking their buses.

I was walking to the 189 bus stop outside the Japanese High School yesterday.

Standing at a distance of less than 100 metres,I saw the bus at the bus stop, alighting some passengers.

''Should i run towards the bus like a lunatic & pant like I've just suffered an asthma attack when I board the bus?''

No way.

So, i lazily walk towards it, & saw the bus passing right in front of me.

Luckily, around 4 minutes later, another 189 arrived (:

When I reached Bukit Batok Bus Interchange, i searched for the 941 bus stand as i've forgotten where it was.

To my dismay, when i came upon the bus stand, the 941 bus had droven off just as i found the stand.

With no other choice, I walked out to the bus stop outside the bus interchange, hoping that i would catch up with the 941 bus.

HOWEVER, when i reached the bus stop, the 941 bus came in faster than me & drove off once again.

So i had to take the bus right after it, which is 66 (SBS bus).

After the packing, we walked out of BBSS, & i saw 941 driving off AGAIN.

When i reached BB bus interchange, the 189 went past me & drove off.

In total, I've missed 5 SMRT buses :(

What A Tiring Day...

My internet was down yesterday, so it was a pity that i couldn't blog about the many things that happened.

Had packing day on 1st Dec, which was yesterday,for CO instruments in the new campus.

Reached BBSS at around 9:58, despite missing 2 buses.haha(:

Officially, our packing started around 10 40++

But when it was around lunch time, we were still packing as there were many instruments that needed to be arrange & there were a total of 37 boxes of items like music scrolls, stands for us to pack.

Since many of our stomachs were growling & stuff, we decided to take a break & go for lunch first.

Many funny things had happened when we were eating.Like BoXiang & his hokkien songs that were playing...

After lunch, we continued on with the packing & finally finished packing at 4 20+

Even though my whole body was aching after all the packing, the packing was kinda fun :D

i just couldnt believe that i actually stepped into the Male's toilet in the lib.

'why did the cleaner auntie stepped out of the toilet in the first place?
she wasnt even holding on any mop or something
so this means that she was not in there to do any cleaning
which i thought that was the Female's toilet, therefore, i stepped into it,
only to find a man washing his hands at the basin, looking up to the door,
i saw the stickman sigh & i was like *uh-oh*'

this time, i was REALLY blushing.

1) I hardly smile, so usually, people get the misconception that i'm being unfriendly & stuff. BUT, i'm not, okay. I'm just kinda lazy to raise my lips to form a curve shape or just open my mouth to show my teeth.
2) I'm ULTRA sensitive to the *Y* word. Be it in verb or noun. Just DO NOT do the *Y* thing in my presence. Thanks :D haha
3) I seldom blush. But when i do, my whole face REALLY turns red. So i'm suspecting that the blood vessels in my face are not working well.
4) I often wave to the people that i absolutely do not know & this had happened like a gazyllion times.

went to Ngee Ann poly today to visit G(:

& while i was in the library, waiting for her to finish her lessons, i did my Physics, English ISPL, & finished reading the bk Tiga lent me :D

after that, we rushed off to the bus stop & head off to Anchorage.

while walking from the bus stop to the back gate, G kept complaining about her hurting her arm when she was in class doing some practical stuff.

when we reached 0606, she continued to rush off & ate her early dinner (porridge), took her stuff & left for work.

so i'm left all alone again :(

haha.just kidding..Nicole & Totto then came & asked me to join in with them in playing 'Hide & Seek'

instead of playing with them, i climbed onto G's bed & read the jokes section of Readers' Digest while i watch them play. seriously, i needed some humour to lighten up my day as i was really tired after the long day.

BUT.i did join in the fun by thinking of hiding places for them. yea, i know i'm still childish & stuff :D

then the moment we've all been waiting for arrived.

0606 was filled with many of our realtives at around 7 00 & the dining table was placed with all of the most delicious food u could ever think of (:

well, there is Roasted duck, Stir-Fry noodles, Steam Prawns (although i cant eat them.*sobs!* ), Roasted Pork, Chicken Curry..& many more.

u name it, i ate it.hehe

food was definitely my weakness as i had a total of 3 bowls of the Stir-fry noodles.

after dinner, we had a little photo sharing session as my aunt, whose getting married on the 18th of Dec, shows us the photos thats gonna be displayed during her wedding.

& then came the stacks of photo albums of the old Old OLD photos.

they include those of my mum when she was my age, when knee-length socks, or high waist pants are the IN-thing,or even younger, when she was still a toodler.

so i was practically laughing my head off whenever i came upon the 'funny' photos as i flipped through the albums.

it was then i came upon an album with G's photos in it. the one when she was around 6 yrs old, wearing a wig & disguising as an little indian girl.
i was really laughing SO loud that the whole house was filled with my laughter.

a thought struck me at that moment & i took out my phone to capture down the photos.
yay! i've got something to blackmail her. WAHAHHAHA~
*laughing evily*

soon, it was time to celebrate my another aunt's birthday (mind u, i have LOTS of aunts) & we begun to sing the b'day song

today,

mum place the teachers' day present i got for my tuition teacher at the back seat of the car, together with the stuff that were supposed to be brought to the salvation army.

instead, my dad place all of it at the salvation army booth.

ended up having to drive back there, praying hard that no one took it

i was drenched from head to toe during the PE lesson i had today.

yet, it was the most enjoyable PE lesson i had(:

during the frisbee games, it was really scary as i was afraid that i'd slipped & fall.

it'll not be a good experience in getting embarrassed 3 times in 2 days ;X

anyway, i feel that Rooban do have potential in playing frisbee.

work hard on it yea? (;

it seems as though the people from the sec3 classes at the 3rd level were watching us.

cause we were really screaming the top of our lungs when we were playing ;D

what an amazing day i had today. yea right..

Firstly, after chemistry remedial today,

yuen kai took the chair off from me when i was about to sit.

resulting in me falling to the ground.

i kinda screamed softly.

apparently, irfaniah seemed to be the one that fell cause she was screaming louder than me.

Next, when i was waiting for atikah at the area near the security guard house,

i was actually keeping a look out for pigeons while i was doing my homework

little did i know that few seconds later, a fatty pigeon flew past me, causing me to scream yet again for the second time in the day. but this time, i was screaming in the inside.

anyway, as i did not blog for about 3 days,

Ever heard the story of the fork?

well...

once upon a time, there lived a fork.

It fell in love with the spoon at first sight.

As time passed, the relationship that they shared did not last.

Later on, the spoon fell in love with the dessert spoon.

Leaving the poor fork alone.

After some time when the fork has recovered from the heartache caused by the spoon, the fork then fell in love with the knife.

Little did the fork knew that both the knive and fork actually feel the same towards each other.

But the knive was one that does not tell its heart felt feelings easily.

Soon, the knive tried to forgot about fork.

anyway, the peer tutouring by sachin was a failure.

as i missed the lessons ytd

after that, we were all very hungry (esp me) ;P

my beloved bus 173 went past 5-6 times ;(
i was like screaming my head off each time it passed by

----this post is just to update my blog as its dead for several wks ;p
okie..went to K-BOX with guin last wed.
took bus 143 to cineleisure,but it was a 46++ mins ride,therefore, i ended up being late (as usual).
fortunately, i'm meeting with the SUPER LATE QUEEN,thus, i was not exactly late(;
the bus went by cineleisure at e back & i thought i missed the stop.
so the next stop was at taka,which i alighted & walked all e way to cineleisure from there.
when i reached the bus-stop where i was supposed to meet guin,e 143 bus just went pass me & the bus actually passes by the bus-stop.
staring at e bus as it droves by & i was like screaming in my heart'WHAT?!'
wasted 1/6 of my energy while walking there;(
anyway, saw guin right after & we sang for 3 hrs until our voices broke.haha!
after that, we went around orchard to shop and ended up in far east plaza.
search high & low for her STAGE store,but sadly, we couldnt find it.
the next day, after CO prac, i went to anchorage to meet her again as i went baby-sitting for nicole & totto(:
after the LONG talk+discussion when both nicole & totto were having afternoon naps, we then proceed to anchorpoint, where we had TCC for tea break.
e ocean catch dish was super yuummmyy!
however, we were still not full YET.
haha..therefore, we went to KFC & bought large sized popcorn chicken to munch on.
went to queensway sc after that.
anyway, i gtg & sleep.

(update on 7th Mar'08)i was worn out, tired after e race, & i was e no 606 person of e day(;

-X-country-
-woke up at 5 30
-wanted to meet zt BUT i left my no tag at my grandma's hse
-no choice, had to go all e way to clementi & take
-couldnt meet up with zt
-luckily she told me that i had to alight at chinese garden, or else i'll end up at lakeside
-after e race, e sweat i had could add up to 2 litres ;x
-super tiring
yea..so after e whole X-country ended, i went to eat BOTAK JONES with des & zt(:
e meal was well..really delicious,
couldnt possibly forgot what des said about e chicken breast & stuff..wahahahh!
after e meal, we all went to our separate ways & i went to my aunt's hse at queenstown.
-guin went to sleep mins later after i arrived
-had no one to chat with ;(
-so i just glanced through e magazines there
-took a bath after e water pipe prob was fixed
-teacher choo came back at around 5
-& she took a nap too
-wah! so i continued reading e magazines there
-& FINALLY they all woke up at around 6 (;
-embarked our journey at around 7 15 when they were ready & prepared for e trip
-uncle teckseng then came & fetched us
-where he went to queensway shopping centre to fetched his parents
& just when i thought we were about to reach qiuyiong's place, we went to whitesands shopping centre as we were still waiting for his brother.around 20 mins later, we finally went to changi aloha chalet,where qiuyiong's chalet was really hard to find as it was all e way in.
soon, we finally found it & when we were about to park e car, uncle teckseng, known for his ultra hilarious jokes,said something really funny about his totally new car,parking at e grass patch there.when we went there, e BBQ area was super dark, fortunately, the chalet was well lite(lighted??) & we immediately went to find e birthday girl(:
she was in her JJC uniform as e dress code of e party was to wear any uniform,there was like people from ACJC & many more.
saw dai qiang & dai shen, which dai qiang got back his A'lvls results on that day.
dai shen's hairstyle was kinda cute & uncle teckseng was like making fun of him & stuff.e scenario was super funny.u could really laugh ur head off when u're with him.
we then went e area where the food was placed,& had difficulties figuring out what food that was as we couldnt see what we were taking.
in the end, we took like one from every dish,& ate it at e chalet's dining room, where we can see what we were eating..haha ;p
had to leave early as i had geog competition next day;(
so i bid farewell to qiuyiong & others & she gave me this gift which was really sweet:

well, went to bugis after my battling at tuition with my mum to meet my cousin, grandma & uncle(:
had pepper lunch, omelette rice, grilled chicken rice, yong tau foo, fish soup for dinner at e branch of food junction in bugis junction..super yummy ;D
haha..ended up feeling REALLY full
after munching, slurping & eating, we went to bugis street & shopped till we dropped..
wahahhahh~
anyway, the main point for us to go out its because we wanted to celebrate guinevere's birthday

before e clock strikes 12, i wanna say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUINEVERE!! =D

the talk was helpful & e movie was interesting in fact
its like e way the ''camera-man'' shot e scenes in e movie, ultra-sonicly cool =D

comments: for those who loves polar bears or walrus, u'll definitely love this movie..
but there are many saddenning parts in the movie too, so it's best to prepare a few pieces of tissue paper beside ya when u're watching it..
